Dan was born in Hamburg in 1980. Drawn to music at an early age he was inspired by bands such as Slayer, Iron Maiden and started playing guitar by the age of 12 experimenting with different styles and genres always trying to create something new out the ordinary.

Challenged by the boredom of society and the rules of growing up the music alone semmed not enough to channel his creativity. Drawn into the world of comic hero Batman he was taunted by teachers who thought he should pay more attention to ordinary school subjects rather than scribbling away in class and for a moment it almost looked as if their influences would bear fruits. Dan finished school and started a seemingly normal apprenticeship in retail sales working himself up to department manager in a mens fashion house. Despite the decent career it didn’t take too long until Dan realised that there needed to be more to life than selling cloth he himself would not wear.

Inspired by work of some local Tattoo artists, Dan started to teach himself the art of ink and left his well situated job not long after to start a new life in a small Hamburg Tattoo shop. This decision was an unconsious move towards an even bigger idea of spending his life making money on what he does best: Expressing his view on the world by creating art and capitalizing on it. Remaining living in a world of opposites, Dan worked during the daytime as a Tattoo artist, while studying art, espacially interested in archetypes such as John Carpenter, Karl Reisenbichler, Otto Dix,S. Dali, Stan Lee

Still involved in the music scene, Dan started designing covers for some local bands and it didn’t take to long until he finally found what was written in his future all along. Dan quit his job at the Tattoo parlor and started his own business combining his retail experience from the early years with his rampant creativity opening a store for Art and Fashion where he is selling his printings on canvas as well as on printed t-shirts, tops and hats. Dan’s art reflects his extraordinary view on today’s society always searching to uncover the opposites of human nature, and depict not seldomly a sinister, rather sexual view of the world that is painful at first glance yet led by deep emotions never failing to surprise.

In 2007 Dan moved his life and work to Berlin, opening a flagship store at Mehringdamn containing a showroom and a Tattoo studio. The business is expanding fast and since Dan’s life is not about coming to a rest he will develop a new fashion lable with his own designed clothing by 2009. Meanwhile, as time permits he is also quite successful as a musician on stage. His band "Men without God" will release their first album in 2010.
